FAIR WARNING: My blogs are an eclectic group! Each depends on whatever strikes me in the moment. I also don’t always write them on a regular basis. However, I enjoy hearing your comments. Feel free to share with others!
If you’re specifically looking for my On the Move blog series based on my travels, you will find them scattered in the posts below or click HERE for a shortcut to just those travel posts.

One Year in Cotulla
This week, Rick and I “celebrated” living in Cotulla, Texas for one year. The word celebrated is in quotations because this move was all about an opportunity for his career rather than our choice to live here. It’s hard to believe a year has passed already. But as life goes, it isn’t surprising how quickly time has flown by. After living in Phoenix for thirty years, this was a rather significant change for me.

Promise of Protection
I shared a very surreal moment with Rick last week when I opened the brown cardboard package and removed the proof of my very first book. It was so exciting to see it in a format other than on my computer monitor or a manuscript on printer paper.

The White House
My dad worked for a large international corporation, and he accepted a two-year work assignment in the United Kingdom. What began as a two-year stay in England developed into six years—all my elementary school grades.

My Perception is My Reality
My perception is my reality, not yours.
I thought about the subject of ‘perceptions’ a few days ago. Just going about my business doing the mundane task of laundry, I noticed a twig up on my laundry room window. It had been windy and rainy down here in south Texas for several days. I didn’t think much about it until taking a closer look. It wasn’t a twig at all, it was a Walking Stick!

The Golden Years
My dad used to joke about being in his ‘Golden Years’. He had such a marvelous sense of humor. His definition of those precious years in the final season of life was supposed to be filled with happiness, relaxation, and freedom. Instead much of his time was spent in an endless parade to various doctor’s offices.

Blue Copper is a Wrap!
Today I am going to share an update regarding our film BLUE COPPER. If you are in the handful of my Blog followers who also were our Kickstarter Backers, a lot of this information will look familiar.

OCD or Just Organized?
I’ve always been an organizer — a ‘director’ of sorts. I think it runs through my veins. It is just easier to find the right shirt when my closet is organized by color. I’m not a neat freak but it saves time when I can put my hands on a document that is filed in the proper folder.

Unexpected Knock
It is a short story Blog!
A woman visits the home of her mother’s high school friend hoping to find a family she never had.
UNEXPECTED KNOCK

Power in a Melody
I know this might sound morbid, but it isn’t meant to be. I have found THE song that I want played at my memorial service. It is called Baptism by pianist Paul Cardall.

Working Blue Copper
Four weeks ago, I wrote my Blog all about the launch of our crowd-funding campaign through Kickstarter.com for my latest film project entitled BLUE COPPER.

You Say You Can't?
I was capturing some thoughts a couple of days ago about an experience that happened to me in college. I learned a valuable lesson and thought I’d share that today.

Blossom on the Vine
One of my favorite dinner’s consists of a fresh steamed artichoke with a dipping sauce of butter, mayonnaise and garlic. Love, love, love! You can imagine my surprise a few years back to discover that the artichokes I enjoyed were not vegetables but flower buds!

Goodbye Faithful Slippers
I truly believe that life is to be lived and not just something that happens to us. I am the first to admit, sometimes I don’t want things to change. I like them the way they are. It’s like having old comfy slippers.

A Kick for Blue Copper
I am very excited to highlight some of our recent activities surrounding the launch of our Kickstarter Campaign for our film BLUE COPPER.

Alaskan Wonderland
For many years, I have wanted to visit Alaska. Finally, I was able to make that trip a reality via a recent seven day cruise.

Flutter, Scamper, Crawl - Can I Love Them?
I have a history with creatures that flutter, scamper and crawl. Coming across them while outside can often be fascinating and amazing. Did I say, outside? Okay, so that’s where I believe they belong - outside. That’s their home. But, inside - it’s all about me and I can get pretty territorial.

Returning to Davos
Our family lived in England for six years during my elementary school years. My father worked for a U.S. corporation that moved us there to live as he managed some of their plant facilities. While there, my parents took advantage of the close proximity to many European countries and we traveled through several of them.

Mid-Year 2014 Update
I missed last week’s blog—first time in six months! Probably due to being out of town and more likely because I haven’t been in my “creative” space lately, but in my “planning and coordinating” mode. So, this blog is more of an update on Mindclover projects.

The Irritation Bandwagon
I knew my basket wouldn’t pass for twenty items or less, so, I picked the shortest line available. One with just a single woman in front of me. I disliked shopping at that particular WalMart because despite the thirty cash registers they had, management saw to it that there were never more than five registers open at a time.

Beauty in Motion
Kindness feeds your heart nourishment. Intentional graciousness communicates through our touch, our words, our actions, and our smile.
